Cat Lady Jillie and her helper, Spinner, are maniacs for yarn and knitting. It could be hereditary: Jillie's grandmother knitted 74 pairs of woolen socks during World War II to send to the troops overseas; and Spinner's great-grandmother was sitting on Jillie's lap on the day that Jillie learned how to knit when she was nine years old...Jillie is currently working on a pair of socks from a vintage pattern that she found on a wonderful website called Vintage Purls.
As much fun as she's having, she can't imagine knitting another 73 pairs...
