Cat Lady No. 132...Teacher's Pet

Soon-to-graduate college student Alanis is studying for her last final exam with the help of Library Cat Sylvester. Failing the final exam would be unthinkable, as she is looking forward to her graduation ceremony in two weeks, and wearing that striking blue cap and gown that she was just fitted for...

Thank goodness Sylvester is keeping her focused and helping out with an occasional neck and shoulder massage...

Otherwise, her mind might wander to the time she visited the world's largest mortar board, or graduation cap. It's in Columbus Ohio and the aluminum sculpture weighs 5 tons and was suspended in mid-air over Rich Street in 2003 to celebrate the 100th birthday of Franklin University. So darling! Wow, I love all these cat pictures. Great, vibrant colors in this one. I've never actually had a cat lie across my shoulders, but I imagine it must be a very good stress reliever. :)
