It's been a busy several weeks here at Susan Faye World Headquarters. My studio assistant Buttonwillow and Assistant-In-Training Inka have been busy as little elves, helping me fill orders as we've sent my little creations to faraway lands around the world and to every corner of the USA, including Hawaii and Alaska.
Buttonwillow takes a short break from catnip toy production. I think the fumes have simply overwhelmed her. |

Inka: I love the holidays . . . there's so much more stuff to get into! Mouse: Yah, I made a nest right on mom's work table and she doesn't even know it yet!
ReplyDelete- Are you listen some noise?
ReplyDelete- Yes! So here I am pretending to be a statue. Best tactic against fear.
Inka: You are small! You should be able to squeeze into the gift closet and see what Santa is bringing...
ReplyDeleteMouse: But what if I get caught? I won't get any cheese!
Inka: Let's play cat and mouse, I'll be the mouse.
ReplyDeleteMouse: Is it Christmas already?

Inka: Got it? Find all of Buttonwillow's presents and change the name to "Inka"
ReplyDeleteMouse: OK, but when do I get my cheese plate?
Inka: Where do you think she's hiding our Christmas presents?!?!
ReplyDeleteMouse: I know they're not in the cereal boxes in the top cupboard... I've already looked in each one...
Inka: Looks like snow outside.
ReplyDeleteMouse: I could so get lost in that.

Inka: Let's make some merry mischief and shake this place up. You make like Hickory Dickory and run to the top of the Christmas tree!
ReplyDeleteMouse: Bust my buttons, I'd love to, but I'm more like a Thanksgiving turkey...just stuffing inside.
Inka: Ready to rehearse? "'Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house...'
ReplyDeleteMouse: "Not a creature was stirring, not even me...I mean, a mouse, not even a mouse!"
Mouse: Please don't eat me, it's Christmas
ReplyDeleteInka: OK then, I'll wait until New Year!

Inka: Yep, they're back... Are you ready to pretend I'm chasing you again?
ReplyDeleteMouse: Yeah, whatever... We're picking up that chess game after they sleep tonight?
