Lavender Festival Sneak Peek

Creative production has been in high gear here at Susan Faye World Headquarters in anticipation of the upcoming Lavender Festival this weekend.  Buttonwillow has been in charge of quality control of the catnip toys:

...while my son Chris has been helping me with jewelry and other projects.  Here is a peek at my work table filled with jewelry and glass paperweights in various stages of completion:

I've also been working on a brand new item that I'll be testing out at the festival-- a decorative lavender sachet that can be hung on a wall or a doorknob, or can be tucked into a drawer.  They feature the "I Heart Cats" designs that I've been introducing on jewelry.  If they go over well this weekend, I'll be adding them to my Etsy shop.  I'll continue to add new cat colors and breeds to the jewelry and sachet lines over the remaining months of 2012.  Any requests?

The Yamhill Lavender Festival takes place this weekend, July 14 and 15, in the town of Yamhill Oregon. It includes a plein air art show, lots of vendors, and entertainment, all in the lovely shaded Beulah Park.  The Festival is part of the larger Oregon Lavender Festival Tour, where you can visit lavender farms throughout the county, a real treat to see AND to smell (we're talking MEGA aromatherapy!).

Thanks for visiting!
