Cat Lady No. 280...Thinking Thanks

On January 31, 1957, the Canadian Parliament proclaimed:
"A Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed...to be observed on the 2nd Monday in October."

Canadian Cat Lady Chloe is thinking thanks. She is making out a gratitude list as she prepares for tomorrow's Thanksgiving Day celebration.

Here's what she has so far:

  • a happy family
  • funny friends
  • lumpy wool yarn
  • hand-knitted yellow sweaters
  • autumn leaves
  • chrysanthemums
  • chocolate cherry cheesecake
  • red flannel sheets
  • and most important of all, a purring ginger cat named Hildegard who will still be there purring when the celebration is over and it's time to snuggle into red flannel sheets!
Thanks for visiting!
